Canada West Festival

Performing Arts BC, the Alberta Music Festival Association and the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association are pleased to announce the success of their Tri-Province Festival for Music and Speech Arts, which serves as a 'next step' for provincial competitors. The Third annual festival will take place July 25 - 27, 2024 in Victoria, BC!  The festival has 3 levels of competition: 13 & under, 17 & under and 22 & under and in most classes provinces are able to send 2 or 3 competitors for piano, classical voice, musical theatre, strings, guitar, woodwinds, brass, chamber music and speech arts. A recorded Choral competition is also included. Competitors to this festival will be recommended from the BC Provincial Festival. 

Please find a copy of the 2024 Syllabus here. Please note that 2024 will see the introduction of a 13 years and under guitar class and the realignment of Choral classes. If you would like to be considered for the 2024 CWPAF, please indicate this on your BC Provincial Festival Registration Form.
