Canada West Festival

Performing Arts BC, the Alberta Music Festival Association and the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association are pleased to announce a Tri-Province Festival for Music and Speech Arts, which serves as a 'next step' for provincial competitors. The 5th Annual Festival will take place July 24 - 25, 2026 in Edmonton, AB.  The festival has 3 levels of competition: 13 & under, 17 & under and 22 & under and in most classes provinces are able to send 2 or 3 competitors for piano, classical voice, musical theatre, strings, guitar, woodwinds, brass, chamber music and speech arts. A recorded Choral competition is also included. Competitors to this festival will be recommended from the BC Provincial Festival. 

The 2026 syllabus will be posted shortly. If you would like to be considered for the 2026 CWPAF, please indicate this on your BC Provincial Festival Registration Form.
